An eau de parfum is an alcohol-based fragrance with a high concentration of perfume oil, sprayed rather than dabbed. It projects more openly than a perfume oil in the first hour and settles into 8 to 10 hours of wear. Our eau de parfum is blended from internationally sourced ingredients and finished in the UK in small batches.
Where our perfume oils sit close to the skin, an eau de parfum is built to be noticed, bolder projection for evenings, occasions and colder months, with a refined dry-down that holds its character rather than turning flat.
Choose an eau de parfum when you want presence: a scent that announces itself as you enter and carries across a room. Choose a perfume oil when you want longevity and intimacy, something that wears 10 to 12 hours and stays close to the skin. Many people keep both: an oil for everyday wear and an eau de parfum for occasions. You can also layer them, applying the oil first so it anchors the alcohol-based top notes and extends the spray.
Spray onto moisturised pulse points, the wrists, the neck and the inner elbows, from a few centimetres away, and let it dry without rubbing. Rubbing crushes the top notes and shortens the wear. A light mist onto clothing extends longevity further, as fabric holds fragrance longer than skin.
